When the Heart Already Feels

Guard your heart more carefully than anything else you treasure, for life flows from it. True faith is when you feel that gentle tingling in your heart.

Have you ever experienced that deep inside your heart you felt the answer, even if you couldn’t put it into words?

Have you ever felt that very, very deep in your heart there is a desire that seems too big, something you feel you cannot solve or accomplish humanly?

Or do you simply feel in your heart that you want to draw closer to God, that you want to know more about Him? Or you just want to be with Him, to talk with Him, to hear what He says.

This is from God. You might think you don’t hear God’s voice, yet you simply don’t recognize His channels of communication, the ways in which He speaks to you. This heart-tingle is also God’s communication. Because true faith comes from the heart, not the mind. Because He has engraved the answers into your heart.

God is calling you.

John 6:44

“No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws them, and I will raise them up at the last day.”

If you have ever encountered any of the feelings above, it means that the Father is drawing you. And if you feel these in your heart—this vibration, desire, feeling, emotion, whatever you perceive or call it—then you are already listening to one of His channels of communication. Because this is how God communicates with you.

And now, I joyfully pass this message to you, so you can see that indeed, you have already recognized and are listening to one of His channels of communication. Often we are not even consciously aware of it, but the heart already feels. And in faith, you step toward Him and respond.
